Friday blues...

Very unfortunately, an early christmas present to burn a hole in my pocket. The new car met with an accident in the late evening. An indian motorbiker and my mum. The front bumper's a goner! Next at night my sis, bro and cousins, we all went out to Mustafa and when i was coming out of the carpark, i scratched and dent the left side of the car because the Bangala driving the lorry left me with no space. Serious, what's with me, my mum and the indians? The whole car is a goner in 1 night and all happened on the left side. Everything happened on the same side, same day. Like what others always say "BUY 4D also NOT SO ZHUN!" I totally agree now!

My dear handphone
My handphone gave way after 3 years. Oh my god! I'm so budget now yet i've to get a new phone. Actually i wanna just make do with it with the no 9 button being damaged. But i guess now i have no choice but to get a new 1 as it always switch off by itself. Sad! But lucky for me my collegue's sister open a hp shop in woodlands. So i can go there and buy but it will still cost me a bomb! I am finding for a part time job already and now this is happening to me! Oh my god! i need help seriously man! HAHAH!

Bad day...
I really felt very sian. Everything seems to be not right for me. I lost my keys last night, my hp cant be used and i dont want to waste $ buying one because i trying my best to save $ so i am now just making use of the rest of the buttons that are working. And today was meant to be my rest day and my collegue was late and it's a very important day, my boss called from Malaysia to lecture me because my collegue was late. It seems like the whole companny going to collapse without me? Like what's New? Everyone told me not to off so i can make things nicely, but i'm not god, even god need a break. And to make it worst, the fixtures and everything they want between boss-buyer-manager-contractor all cant compromise and i'm sandwiched in the middle. And to make it worst, the keys my father gave me the extra set and i went to duplicate it. Ended up they cant be open! Oh my god! I really want to break down and cry already! Everything's so screwed! But just when i was about to break down, i msg Mingwei and told her i had really a bad day. And she told me she also had a bad day as she has a really bad collegue. Oh my god! It's telepathy man! She's serious like my evil twin, and my soul mate..=))

Unlucky day

My cell phone's not working, and i lost my house keys. The most ironic thing is i am not sure did i lost it when i was hurrying to my car when i saw the summon person? Or i lost it in meisi's house? Or i lost it in Grace's house? Or i lost it in my car? Help me man! But the lucky thing is my father has not fly off so he opened the door for me if not i will be locked out of the house for many days till my whole family is back. Oh my god! Seriously, my memory is failing me! I was happily having Roti Prata with Kinyik and Meisi and i saw the summon uncle. And i hurried to my car! Oh my god, where is my keys?

Home alone. Sad and stone.

Just sent my family to the airport as they're leaving to Korea for holidays. Rushed home after work to send them off and went to have dinner with ah ma and dad. Dad's leaving too in 2 days time. So left me to stone at home alone for the next half a month. My grandma suffered from stroke and she is not as healthy as last time and my grandpa is 80+ years old therefore my uncle decided to bring all of us to Korea to ski. But due to my sickening and monotone work, i didn't go in the end. But my uncle spent $4000 on winter apparels for the whole family, excluding airfares and tours. So imagine how much that is gonna be? And he is not working now, he's depending on the past savings. He's really a sweet uncle.

Life's so dull and slow. Met up with Kristine and Lisa after work was the thing i was looking forward to. Anyway, drove over to Lisa's home and 3 of us went to Helipad. It was a really relax and chilled out lounge with good drinks. The other con is you have to order drinks and pay for them before you can proceed. Well, it's more atas than Prive now. Anyway, aftermath we walk along the Clarke Quay area and next drove them to my favourite Prata store. Met Grace there and we bitched and talked till 4am. Sent all of them home and it was raining cats and dogs. And seriously, i want to complain man the newton round about is super dangerous. The traffic lights will be switched off after night time and i checked the cars before i moved out and i had the right of way, but this motorcycle just honked me when i am moving and even did a E-brake and stared at me. What the hell man! First, he was supposed to check and he was supposed to stop for the main road vehicles. Very ANGRY!

Friendship is made up of genuine effort which i always give my very best.

One day when i was in skype, a 20 year old guy message me and told me that his company is coming to Singapore for incentive trip and hope i can bring them around. I agreed and today they came. I woke up at 3am to send my father to the airport and went to Takashimaya and Wisma to shop around and went to the airport to fetch the Latvia friends up. When i was taking the paper at the airport, alot of Latvia people came up to me and told me they are from Latvia.AHHA! Do i look like a tour guide, trying to fetch them at airport? HEHE!We went to Sim Lim to find for their gadgets and headed to Balestier for the extremely expensive chicken rice. Drove them to Prive and they loved it so much and bought them drinks. But the servers there are extremely rude, insisted to check their ID and yell at them. And seriously where is the good service in them? Especially to tourists? Anyway, they felt hungry so drove them to Kampong Bahru prata shop and ordered all kinds of Prata for them. They loved it and told me to sit down and they'll pay for the meal. HAHAA! After that we all went to Mustafa and they shopped like maddness. When we were heading back to the car, they told me they had to go 7-eleven to buy some beers. So i was waiting for them, they came out with a jacobs geek red wine and thanked me for my time and my effort in making this trip so wonderful. I am really very touched. And they bought me tons of chocolates from Latvia and a Wine from Latvia too. When we bid good bye, it was so much of mixed feelings. They're really wonderful people. And i'm glad i met people like them. It's such a happy yet sad day as my Latvia friends have to leave. And also, today marks the last day of my Cefiro. My mum extended the date to today so i can have 2 cars to drive my friends around. But eventually tomorrow the person coming to collect the Cefiro already. The new Honda Stream steering is very much better than Cefiro, but i will defintely miss the powerful Cefiro! Miss you Latvia People and Cefiro! =~(

Met up with the folks around Tiong Bahru for some Zi Char love for Halim's birthday celebration. In the midst of eating, the auntie told us that the police came and gave summons. God damn it, and i got it right there. 1st time i got it 1 year ago at Geylang Lorong 3 and now its the 2nd. Can i just like mantain it to just having one summon in my entire driving history. Laughs!Low morale and i drove home and used Kinyik's car. Anyway, went to the Crew Room and chill and beer and lots of cards playing and singing session. Just home and i got to wake up real early tomorrow. Work's killing me...HELP!

Just home from clubbing. Went with collegues, but most of them are around their late 30s and 40s. The most hilarious part is one of them lead us to walk a very long route, ended up when we reached St.James, we were all tired and shagged. We entered Powerhouse 1st, and next we ordered some drinks and went seperate ways. The aunties and I went to Dragongfly, but the moment we stepped in, Serene and folks felt tipsy and left Mei Li and I. So we just stood there as Canto Pop and Chinese Pop is really not my cuppa tea. So i left the club with Mei Li and saw Jacklyn outside. In the midst of re-queing, Jacklyn wanna faint. And so we accompany her to sit down. And in the end, we just decided to go home. That explains why i am home now. I wasted $15 just like that.

Facts: Money is defintely not enough, well for me.
It's a cycle, from young till now, money never seems to be enough for my family. A typical Singaporean family, we all scream"Money Not enough".
Money-the object that caused me to breakdown, breakouts and breaking my life apart. I try to save but due to unforeseen circumstances at home that i always meet, i always fail. Now that i've a more stable income, i start to buy savings insurance for myself, besides the ones that my mum bought last time for me. Reality forced me to save REAL HARD. I sometimes sob and feel sour when i slog for 3 damn years but i cant see a 4 digit amount of savings. It's ridiculous. I used to shop at a easy pace and all. But now i dont even dare to look nor window shop, as my itchy fingers will start to itch and dance along the rims of my wallet.
From a Nissan Cefiro, i forced my mum to downgrade to a Honda Stream. For it will help us to save more on fuel costs and all. If you compare in life, the high-end/ luxury will never stopped. It's all about comparing and all. Once you have the most powerful object, you tend to want a even more powerful one next time. Now i have to slog to give my siblings allowances, the car payment and all, i'm seriously breaking apart my old bones.
I used to think my mum's really very pro in saving and which ever difficulties we met, she will come up with an amount for she really save alot for the rainy days. And when i mean rainy days, they are really rainy for my family. But now ever my mum breaking apart, whom can we turned to? There's no one else except to stand on ourfeet. own
I'm really beginning to fear.

It's really sad to bid good-bye....

Today marks the day where ShengPhuay has to leave for newcastle to study. Chatted with him last night and it was of mixed feelings. A close friend is going to study for 3 years. Without him is equals to no joker, no laughter and no soulmate. Nevertheless, we still sent him off at the airport at 9pm plus just now and his mum and gf cried. Was heart wrenching but most of us controlled. I believe he will come back with a 1st class honours to do us proud and be the most successful accountant among us. =).

Rain Rain go away, come again another day!

Went to watch a midnight movie with my ah ma, mummy and cousin Joel last night at Vivo. It was a 12.15am show and we watched Money not enough 2. As it was my ah ma's first time watching movie, and it's a hokkein-based movie, it will be as good as hitting 2 birds with one stone. =). Something hilarious happened to my mum, the buey sotong act sotong kia yesterday night. As we were only allowed to go in 5 mins before the show, my mum went to ask the lady if we were allowed to go in.
Mum: Hi, can we go in for the show already?
Lady: Hi madame, what show are you watching?
Mum: What show ahhh? EHHHHHH.....
Lady: Is it 12 Lotus?
Mum: YesYes, you're right 12 Lotus.
Then she went on to wave at us, telling us we are able to go in already.
To my horror, a lady who is also watching money not enough 2 asked if they can go in already. So i asked my mum...

Met up with Gabriel and passed him a belated birthday gift. Glad he love it till he gonna drown in his tears. HAHA! Went to the new revamp East Coast Park and had KFC. Wasted $1.90 for parking. The cefiro problematic again. Dear god, please bless the cefiro with good health. We next headed to Coldbar. After gabriel put down his never ending calls, an ang moh approached us for a phone, as he needed to call for a cab. He was drunk and gabriel offered him to drive him to the main road so he was there waiting for us and smoking with gabriel. He is a lecturer from SMU. He told us some lame jokes and we were laughing like crazy. It's about political jokes about Singapore but it was very true and funny!

9 more days to hit the big double 22! DAMN old!
Just home from Vincent's farewell party at East Coast BBQ. The food was great, sent them home after that and i make a big detour again! HAHA! Like what's new? Last night went for fathers' day dinner with my family at East Coast. And my grandma remembered my birthday wrongly so she rang me up on 7 June morning and wished me a non happy birthday. She said "Today is your birthday, and you need a beating!" The moment i heard it i said "Sorry, but today not my birthday!", in a grumbly tone as i am very tired. She hung up on me! I fell ill, broke down and took an MC. In the morning i went to a Make-over shoot sponsored by Weitian as my birthday gift, she's a sweet heart. It was fun and enjoyable but with my never ending running nose, i hurried home to see a doctor. But later in the night, my ah ma bao me a Ang Pow.HAHA! And she told me it's a small amount so i asked her to take it back till it becomes a big Ang Pow! I love you ah ma, i will keep it to my birthday then i open it up, though i know how much is in the Ang Pow already. She gives the same amount every year since i was 1. HAHA! Everything increased in price leh AH MA, but your Ang Pow never increased. -_-. Happy Birthday to Mingwei, sms her on 7 june to wish her seriously miss her tons, never seen her for years!

Mixed feelings and Happy 23rd Birthday Jane
It's now 4.05am, i just got home from Bukit Timah Railway Mall from supper with the folks namely Buddy KongPeng, Sweetheart Sienny, Slim ShengPhuay and Alan. I woke up this morning with mixed feelings. I don't even wish to go to work. I find there's a obstacle that i can't overcome. And that is putting on a fake front. When the alarm clock alerts me to wake and and prepare for work, all i did was to continue to lay on my bed and thinking why my senior is so mean. It might seemed childish for a 22 year old to think like that but i just can't overcome this. I so much want to break down now. I really thinks its stupid to contribute so much and in the end what you get is nonsense. It's a dog-eat-dog world, it's either you live with it or quit it. I don't wish to talk to her as i can't bring myself to fake. Even the rest of the department knows how she treated me but i just can't bring myself to be mean to her.
I need to break free!

Happy Advanced Mothers' Day

Went to dine at Park Place located at Grand Plaza Park Royal Hotel behind Peninsular with my family. Celebrating Mothers' Day in advanced. As usual my mum rang me and told me the place is booked and starts at 7.30pm. Reached there at 7.30pm sharp but not a single soul there. Everyone was in office, in cabs, in cars, on their way from different parts of Singapore. I was there, bored and lonely, with nothing better to do, i started yawning and taking pictures. Mothers, the most vulnerable and noble human in the world, gave birth to us, nagged at us using their lungs, providing us with food like how my kindergarten school teachers told me how jesus gave us food. Being in a buddhist family, i went home and told my mother not to work as my teacher told me jesus can gave us food. And my mother just slapped 1 sentence right into my 6 years old silky-smooth face,

MOM: YOU THINK MUM NEVER WORK THE FOOD FLY DOWN FROM THE SKY BECAUSE JESUS GIVE?

I start to think my teachers lied to me.HAHA!

Anyway, i love the food my mum and both of my grandma!

There was this period of time when 1 of my grandma was terribly-ill, landed in hospital and doctor say maybe she is beyond cure already, i was crying. And my other grandma suffered from a stroke and landed in hospital as well. That happened last year. There was someone with me, giving me moral support. But now both of my grandma are well and kicking again! Love them to the bits!

Happy Birthday AH MA! *chu

Happy Birthday my dear Ah ma, who took care of me since 2 month old. She is ever pretty and chio and noble in my life, although pretty and chio is the same meaning. She is the most havoc ah ma i've ever seen. She wears jeans and has a killer waist. HAHA! Love you ah ma, wish you happiness always, of cause you will have with me around.=)).

Ended work at 6pm, rushed to buy shoes for work and a pair of slip-ons. Then rushed over to Great World City to buy Royal Chocolate cake for my grandma. My cousins are super fussy so i was deciding between tiramisu and chocolate, but to play safe i chose Chocolate! Came back from work and waited for Ruwen to drive me to meet PeiYan. Went to have supper with them at 126 for dim sum. Monday Blues....

Was staying at Lisa's house last night. Received a phone call from my senior i have to go work because she is sick. Rushed home via bus and cabbed to work. So broke! It's so last minute. Biggie sigh. Once again, it's my off day of the week. Didn't sleep last night and went to work, my sister was crazily playing maple and chatting with her bf on the phone that left me sleepless the whole night. As for today, me and the girls went to many chill out places, had a fun night with each other. Had tons of fun and laughter. Met Meisi and Angela up at 9pm at Tiong Bahru. Then drove over to meet Lisa at her house at Soho, The Central. We then drove to chill at Dempsey Road, then to Goodwood Park Hotel's Thumper, then to Marina at Keppel Bay, then to Dim Sum love, then to Mustafa, then to my house in the wee hours then last of all to Lisa's house to stay over at the wee hours of the night, 5am. When we were about to enter Thumper, Meisi was stopped by the bouncer.

I Love days like this... *chu

I had a fruitful day today! Had buffet at Equinox at Swissotel the Stamford on the 70th storey. Saved 20% buckaroos with Citibank card. =)). Love discount. Thanks to Eugene for helping me ask his brother whether the lunch buffet or high-tea buffet is better. Thanks to Eugene's help! Owe you a treat man pal! Met up with Angela, Lisa and Grace Wong. The usual girly affair. Aftermath went to Comme Des Garcons Store, then Haji Lane, then Ann Siang, then Maxwell market, then Takashimaya. Had tons of food from the buffet and then dinner at Maxwell market after Ann Siang shopping. I'm a "giam siap gui", i always ask for discounts for me and my friends. When we shopped at Ann Siang, i asked discount for me and Grace. Some techniques is to always say I'm student. Since everyone says that might as well use that as an excuse. HAHA! Angela left after dinner at Ann Siang. Last of all, met up with Meisi and she gave us treat at Coffeebean. We took cab the whole day and we took turns to pay! HAHA! Lazy bums! Food, Food and more Food! Meisi is very funny, she wanted to order Thousand leaf chocolate cake for us instead she said "Can i have a thousand island chocolate cake?" Help! Why some people just like to interfere with what you are doing? Shit. I really had enough. I admit i have poor time management and i cant statisfy many. I cannot go out with so many people. And as people gets older, i WOULD prefer to choose who i wanna go out with and its always the usual people. I dread to satisfy people with mood swings. Spare me from the MSN/SMS/PHONE. I love off days! My favourite day of the week. Met up with Eugene at Central then went for lunch at Hooters. Next we went to Liang Court Supermarket for some window shopping and kinokuniya to get a accessory making book for Rena. We walked back to Central for some snacks. Bid him good bye and went to meet bestie to buy perfume from Ruwen. Aftermath Ruwen drove both of us back home and i went to visit my grandma. Reached home at around 9pm, met up with celeste and Angela for Chomp Chomp. I think Chomp Chomp is my 2nd home. HAHA! After that Ice3. My 3rd home.HAHA! Love the girls' night out. But as Angela didnt know the exact location of where the condo is, i called Jingfen up to ask. She was doing OT in her office at 12 plus mid night so i went to pick her up and sent her home as well. The amazing part is... both Angela and Jingfen stays in the same condo. What a small world. So i sent both of them back together. =). As for celeste, she stays 1 street across me. But from next month she is just beside me, in my new neighbourhood.=)). DOUBLE YAY-ness! And i realised, now she stays in the same block as Wuhao! Gosh, what a small world!

It was my dear neighbour's birthday 1 month ago on 11 March and that was the day i had my operation. I ordered a cake made to the design i want for him in March and today was the collection date. Took a cab to Great World then back home before work as it was raining heavily. When i was working, i received an sms from him that he couldnt make it to meet me as he was rushing for his assignment. Anyway i sms-ed him and ask where is he so i can pass it to him. He was at East Coast and i was left with no choice but to sms him and told him i wanted to pass him something initially and i need to meet him up. So both of us met up at my old house area. I passed him the cake and he told me he's going to see a specialist tomorrow. Please take care my neighbour! Happy belated 23rd Birthday! May all your wishes come true! After that, drove over to Lisa's house to watch them doing their work. Gosh! I am so hungry until i can eat a cow so i just spent my time away snapping them. And my cam went dead after we went to satisfy Grace's cravings at Chong Pang Nasi Lemak. She told me that place often many people spot their scandals or ex. HAHA! What the hell! We went to Upper Thomson for dessert at TongShui, but shit we didn't finished it as the jelly tasted like NTUC ready made kind, or even worst for $11.90. Tuesday Blues......

So many things happened and they were like nightmares haunting me. Busy at work but i realised there are many people in my life whom needs my care and concern. Went to City Plaza with Lisa for shopping. But ended up buying nothing and ended up feasting again. Laughs. But was toying with the food though didnt finish up. Aftermath wanted to watch a movie in the evening with Grace. It was raining very heavily and we ended up drenched while waiting for Grace to pick us up at Plaza Singapura. Bought 2 tees at Graniph at a discounted price. Went to Cineleisure, shopped around and also and was calling all the hotels for international dinner buffet as Grace was craving for Oysters. In the end, we ended up in Takashimaya Angus Steak House. A great catching up session and they cant stand me for taking pictures of them. HAHA! Before that we went to Heeren and Lisa wanted to check a shop out. The salesgirl inside was this lady in her maybe 30s, her selling skill is power to the max. She can talk non stop and she talk like some wayang mama that left me and Grace staring at each other.

Went to Sharon to tailor some of my dresses, working clothes and some lining and stuffs. As usual she will say "WEIQI! Why your designs so difficult again?". Anyway, she's really a good tailor, recommanded by Lisa initially and i must seriously thank Lisa. As this tailor is very fast, understands designers' language, i mean that's all designer asked for. =). Aftermath went to trim away my dying hair, rushed to Mount Elizabeth for check up. Had breakfast,lunch and dinner in 1 meal with Eugene. But seriously the whole meal is the best meal i've ever had so far after my operation as i ate to my MAX! Gosh, FATTY!

Fashion is forever priceless.

3 months backstage, 3 minutes on stage.

Went to City plaza in the late morning with bestie. We headed back home for some chicken rice. Went to Vivo Daiso with my ah ma and some supermarket shopping as well. My grandma was so amazed by the $2 items that she can go round and round for hours. She accompanied me to Pull & Bear to help me see a dress that i liked. I really love her as she saved $79.90 for me as she told me why the dress dont suit me as the sizing is very weird and it looks very baggy on me. I always buy on impluse that is the reason why she insisted to go to the changing room with me. Came back home after driving my grandma home, changed and drove to Takashimaya to catch Ashley Isham's fashion show for Fashion Festival 2008. When the show finished, we went to Chomp Chomp and had a wonderful food tasting and growing fat session and home sweet home now at 1.14am.

Thanks William for lunch treat and healthy feast! Met up with bestie for a while, heading to Vivo for some shopping. Actually my mission was to accompany her to get something from fox and i end up buying instead of her. Anyway, she is super funny and she made fun of me until i went gaga. Went to Superdog for dinner as both of us have the same wallet but in different shades, we were trying very hard to dig $0.10 out.

Went to work today and settle the Purchase Order again. AGAIN! Seriously wasting my time and no $. Met up with Lisa with a starving stomach to "RI BEN CHUN" to satisfy our Japanese food crave. Each plate of sushi was at an amazing price of 99 cents and the ingredients are not of any cutting cost amount. But the variety was very little though.

Went to meet Yuhua for some movies. She came to my house, ate my home-cooked lunch and off we went to Vivo at 5 plus. Went to imperial for some desserts and watched this thrilling movie. It was my 1st time having reaction watching movies and Yuhua's screamings scared me so much. HAHA! The usual me was quiet and silent, with no emotions during movies but her screamings made me jump. But 1 thing i must applause her is she can predict when the ghost is coming out so she will scream a few seconds before that. HAHA. It's a nice movie.

Went to work to settle some purchase order stuffs and met up with collegues and they commented my face was really swollen. And their sweet actions made me so touched. Betty Kong:
A person whom everyone loves. Her laughter and jokes are the funniest that i cant stop laughing everytime i meet her. She is caring, sweet and out-going. Met her at Wardrobe SOS in mediacorp in year 2006 and she never failed to being me and the production team laughter. She is well-known for her bickering techniques with Chen Han Wei, and she fails to crack us up. Never forget her signature scene where she left halfway through the filming when teamed with Chen Han Wei and came to Kuo Liang room and say "Kuo Liang, can i team with you?" That left us all laughing. She is a sweet friend, a lover and a sweetheart. She came to Mediacorp to help me when i joined the kids wear competition. She helped me got food, drinks and support. Thanks to her. Will meet you up in Dim Sum land 1 day! Shiying and I hearts you!

Met up with Betty and Shiying today at Vivo. Treated Betty to Bakerzin to eat. When i was on my way there, i was praying not to faint again. I walked slowly, very slowly to the bus stop and took bus 65 to Vivo. Met up at 1.30pm and we bid good bye at 6pm.

The day i fainted in 22 years

On a Fine Thursday.....

Bro Junjie wanted to visit me at home and i was telling him to go buy breakfast with me at Tiong Bahru Market. I walked over to Tiong Bahru Plaza and met up with him.

Meeting up

Never did i know after i met up with him, cross 1 road to start our journey. He was talking to me and next i fainted on the streets. The walking distance is about half a bus stop. He was talking to me and next he couldnt see me and he was shocked i was on the ground already. I tried my best to walk home although he keep asking me to let him piggy back me home. Every 5 steps that i took i take to feel very giddy so i just squad down and continue to walk so a 5 mins walk from my house to Tiong Bahru Plaza became a 30 mins walk. I never knew fainting was so terrible and i hit the ground so badly that my BEE-TEE-FUL leg was destroyed.

After he took me home, my dad came and drove me to my grandma house. Thanks for all the caring and love from all the people. And also Bro Junjie sms me to tell me meet next time BUT DONT FAINT AGAIN! haha. I joked that he was too hot so the moment i saw him i fainted. What an embarrassing moment. The next time i must wear a mask when i walk around the neighbourhood!

Mayumi came to Singgers

Today is the day Mayumi came to Singapore. Was very sad if i cant meet her as she came over to visit me and the rest. With my swelling face, pale look and weaken condition, i drove over to fetch her at the airport. 6pm Kinik came over to my house to accompany me over to the airport. Drove there and there was a massive jam as it's after office hours. Took 1 hour to reach. *BIGGEE SIGH* When we arrived there the plane had landed but she was not out yet. In the end i went over to Burger King trying to buy an ice-cream, being humilated by a Philipines Manager. What the heck! Sorry i dont detest any nationality or race but she is really getting on my nerve. I have a swollen face but that doesnt mean you can be so mean. Meanie!

Me: Hi, may i know what desserts do you have?

Manager(in Philipines accent): WHAT? sorry i dont understand.

Me: Sorry i mean desserts.

Manager: WHAT? (IN A DAMN GIVE ME A PUNCH FACE)

Me: Hey kinyik help me tell her desserts.

Kinyik: Hi, she asked what desserts do you have.

Manager: Oh for now we only have ice cream, the choc pie run out of stock already.

I dont understand why kinyik can understand why she cant understand. And why must she give me the look that states "sorry swollen face lady, your mouth pronounce very difficult to understand, only you understand words". And i even apologise to her. I should take it back man! It's very sad how service line is now. Anyway, after fetching Mayumi up we drove over to Fort Canning Lodge where she is putting up. Met up with Krist over there as well. Aftermath, they suggested 126 for dim sum and so we went for dim sum. But i just do the watching as i cant eat. But i did drink my usual Lemon Honey Tea. Mayumi commented its too sweet. HAHA! Went over to Bukit Batok Crescent with kinyik and mayumi after that to wait for Bryan to knock off. And he knocked off at 11.30pm. We waited 1 and a half hours. Well Done to 3 of us! Sent Mayumi back to hotel and next Bryan drove me home. Reached home at 12.30am. Zero Energy left from driving with a swollen face.

1am: Oh No, Bryan left his wallet in my car, i have to go down and get for him.

Woke up at 11.30am, having my breakfast until now 1pm. Mincing the food slowly with spoon then in mouth. Cant eat properly. Later the folks coming over to visit me. I dont allow anyone to come visit me but left with no choice today as mayumi is coming to town and i have to pass the things i bought for her to kinyik later on. Bought some goodies, seasoning, gifts for her as she is visiting us in Singapore again. Hope this time round kinyik will play a good host on behalf of me. I would like to thank the folks again for making the effort to constantly ask me if they can come down to visit. Thanks! And also bestie for her going-to-happen Marriott buffet treat soon. And also gabriel the lovely ass too! Thanks! And many others!

Fifteen.March.2008(Saturday)

I'm back! But first of all, i would like to wish my best friend a very happy 22nd birthday as i wont be able to celebrate for her on the actual day itself. That explains the early celebration. Well, i'm back at my new house, with a disheartening condition. Was in the hospital on 11 March at 7am to register for my operation which will be held at 9am. First, you do all the registration stuffs and a person from the desk will then bring you up to your ward. As most of you know Mount Elizabeth is well-known for their foreign patients and i was indeed with 3 other indonesians patients. Changed to my operation gown and waited for my turn. 2 nurses came into the ward with a operating bed that you see in the movies and asked me to lie down so as to allow them to push me to level 1 where the operating threater is. I received several glares and stares when we were on our way there. Doctors and nurses came and when the clock almost strike 9am, i was being pushed into the threater. They gave me 2 injections and gone i was. At about 1.45pm, i heard voices so close and familiar to me that calls for me. "WEI QI, WEI QI" they called out for me. I was trying my best to wake up and i caught glimpses of my mum,sis,bro and other people such as doctors and nurses. That was happened in a short 5 seconds and i couldnt wake up. The whole night i was puking 10 packets of blood and breathing in and out of the oxygen mask with a huge tube inserted into my nostrils and also down to my throat. I was devastated and lost. Why must this happened to me? Why, Why and why? The whole family was there and i was feeling really sticky due to the uncontrollable puking of blood. The following morning nurses came and shower for me, fed me with water and medicine and i was told to stay as i am not feeling very well. To stay in a hospital is a feeling that no one ever wants. I know i am seriously ugly after the entire operation, my face bloat to the max, i cant eat, i cant shower, i cant walk and i cant talk. I feel so useless and lost. I had to fight on so as to get discharged. I cant sleep looking at the patients around me, they looked ill and pale and i know everyone is fighting on. Even when i got discharged, every night was just tears wiping my face. Buckets of them, no-one can ever feel how terrible the feeling is to be fighting on like this.I really thank those who message me well wishes and my family who took care of me constantly and giving me support. And my apologies for those whom i cant answer your calls as i cant talk for the moment. But i thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank You!
It is indeed the weakest point of life but i will fight on till the end!

Some Random Thoughts

In less than a day's time i will be bed ridden in the ward of Mount Elizabeth hospital, with strong smell of medicine and some new faces sleeping around me in a ward of 4. Defintely not something that one wants to go through but there is no choice but to face up to it. I was told that i will be awarded to the ICU for an hour after operation and there will be a tube inserted to my nose, down to the throat to make me able to breathe normally. I will puke hell out my of throat(maybe my entire 22 years of food) as the blood that you swallow down unknowingly will be in your stomach, making you feel like puking. Never did i want to blog about something so sad that i pity myself so much. But it really heart wrenching. 2008 was a turning point of my life as so many things happened. I lost so much and gained not much. In fact, did i gained anything? Anyway i thanked many people who always encouraged me and also my Mum and Grandma. They did alot for me throughout my life and i am truly blessed. And with so many friends as well. Thanks everything! Hope in the next entry, i will be well and kicking and of course with more laughter coming from me as usual.

As usual, met up with my night khakis and this time round i have Grace and JunJie. Fun, Fun, Fun! First met Grace up in town and she forgot to bring her wallet but luckily my mum took out $10 and asked me to quickly bring it to her. Aftermath we drove home had a quick dinner and went out to Mustafa and road trip for 3. But unfortunately, i have to drive Grace back to her home to take her forgotten wallet and head out to fetch JunJie at Cineleisure. Headed to Mustafa to change my phone but made a wasted trip as their supervisors went home at 9.30pm. So a reminder to those who want to change damaged products at Mustafa, head there before 9.30pm.=). Had supper at 126 after that, went to Mount Faber for some pictures then sent both of them back. Home sweet home at 5am.

Went for dinner after work at Kenny Rogers for Best Friend's 22 birthday which falls on 15 March 2008. It was an early celebration as i will be undergoing a surgery so i cant celebrate her big day with her. The people who went were Pang Boon, Hong Yew and me. We bought the gift earlier and all we had to do was to give her a birthday surprise. It was hell before that and we had a tough time organising and coordinating with her man. She is super troublesome but still sweet to me.=). Initial plan was to celebrate the birthday in my house as she had to come and give tuition to my brother. But to my horror, she texted me and told me my brother changed the tuition time again. Gosh and after that i told her to still meet at my house. She first agreed but after 2 hours she texted me again telling me she will just meet me at Great World City.

Troublesome woman: Hey, your brother changed the tuition again. Then we will go Great World to eat

Me: Ok, but ou still come my house right? Meet you at my house at 7pm.

Troublesome woman: Ok.

About 3 hours later........

Troublesome woman: I think i will just meet you at Great World as i got test i need to study

Me: Please come to my house, Pls Pls....

Troublesome woman: Why?

Me: I driving out and i need to take my car and also go home change.

Troublesome woman: Diao, you drive out then come to my house fetch me lah. I lazy to go your house there.

Me: Please come to my house, Pls pls.....

Troublesome woman: Okok

Another 3 hours later again.......

Troublesome woman: Hey Miss Yeo, i will meet you straight at Great World, you dont have to drive out as we eat Kenny Rogers will do. So see you there, what time you can?

Me: Ok loh, meet at 7.20pm

About 7pm.....

Troublesome woman: Can we meet at 8pm?

Me: Huh? i left my work place already!!! How?

Troublesome woman: Okok i will go there now see you!

So can you imagine, how many times i called Pang Boon up to keep changing the venue and time for her just for her troublesome-ness as we wanted to surprise her. But we still love her.=). I met her up at Novo and walked over to Kenny Rogers. At that point of time, the seats at Kenny Rogers were very empty but she suggested if we should leave our things on the tables then proceed to order but i say it's ok if we order first as there were plenty of seats. But when it was our turn to place orders, the servers told us that it's quite packed now and they have to arrange for us and this is the most spastic part. The server asked how many of us and i let out my 4 fingers and she let out 2 fingers. I bet the server must be thinking we are very lame, dont even know how many of us. But when we looked at each other, i told her i need table for 4 because i wanted to put my bag and have a much spacious place and she believed me and told the server 4 of us also. Haha! BRILLIANT! When she was eating halfway, Pang Boon and Hong Yew came and Hongyew tapped her on her shoulders and she was shocked. But of course she knows the plan after that. The above picture has a story behind. She told us she wanted an umbrella from Radley. But it was no longer in Singapore. But Pang Boon and me went to search all over Singapore for it but to no avail. In the end we ended up buying agnes b stuff for her. To add on to this joke, when we told her we have a present for her, HongYew took out this umbrella and gave it to her. She must be cursing us when she saw the umbrella.

Woke up at 11am and drove out with mum and sis to town and then to Carrefour for some groceries shopping. Spent a whopping $315 and my heart pinch like maddness. I hope beforehand i never take so many stuffs. Came back and carried our stuffs up and when i went down to collect my car again, SHIT, i saw the parking attendant. Did he jot down my car plate? I received no Parking fine coupon but i suspect the car plate number was already in his PDA. Please dont let me get the 2nd parking fine. We then went over to Friven, a lifestyle concept store to get bedsheets and household items. It was located near Queensway and i didn't know such a nice place exists.

Went home and shower, next went over luck to town to drive the rest to Pricillia's house around West Coast. Very sad i use the wrong route, without remembering that Orchard has ERP at night now. Wasted almost $3 bucks on 2 ERP. 1 at Clemenceu Ave, with the other near StarHub Center. Sad case for me. Pot luck at Priscillia's house and i lost $40 bugaroos to them playing blackjack. Foul luck this year but they must be happy as i contributed to their lunch the follow day by winning my $.=)

As usual we had tons of fun. But i was msn-ing at the wee hours on 26 feb until 4am. And when i was about to hit the bed with hopes that i will dream of snatching snow white's price charming, my hp rang. No cursing or swearing for the person who called as it was the "BIRTHDAY BOY".

Wei Qi: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! *screams*
Alan: Oh my god, you are the 1st to wish me, i call so many people they never wish me because they were all sleeping.
Wei Qi: Of course i will wish you!

For the above sentences, they might sound normal to you. But to my horror, the sentences after that are defintely not something that a person want to listen at 4am? But since he was the birthday boy i gave him my beauty sleep. He was completely drunk and acted normal. And you know drunkards acting normal and telling you how he feel in his life and how normal he is at the point of time. And always the "I AM REALLY NOT DRUNK" sentence just keeps repeating. So the whole conversation ended at 7-ish am and i slept 2 hours and went to dentist via cab. Went to meet PangBoon in search of Peiyan's present and also Alan's present. At around 6.30pm i met Sienny up at Tiong Bahru and we took a bus to Great World to get the sweet secrets cake. And waited till 8plus at Spice along River Valley road to wait for Jackson's arrival. Aftermath we went back to my house and cut the cake and do some stunts. Glad he love the present! As usual we were bored and we went to Prive for some "ROMANTIC moments" and Mount Faber before Wuhao take over the wheels and send everyone home.

The Twenty-eight.Feb.2008(On a Thursday)
Went to chomp chomp with Khang Lip, Ray and Simin. Drove over to Chinatown to pick Simin up then headed to town to pick the 2 boys. Off we went to chomp chomp for a hearty feast and we ate the usuals. My favourite carrot cake, Hokkein mee, chicken wings, Oyster omelette and sugar cane juice. Went over to Ice3 aftermath to satisfy our sweet tooth and sent them home. Wanted to go to chill out at some places but i ended up getting lost again. HAHA! i think they had enough of me.

The Twenty-Nine.Feb.2009(Leap Years; On a Friday)

Met up with David. Was waiting for him at home until 12 plus till he finally arrives in Tiong Bahru. He drove his Vios over and to my surprise, you cant even see me inside as i am too short for his car. I cant even see the road as he modified his whole car until the seat was so low. The whole night he was asking if i was feeling uncomfortable sitting in his car. HAHA! We went to watch "Meet the Spartans" at Lido. It was a cheap abstract from the movie 300 but it was super lame and that makes a nice friday. Went home after that with blood shot eyes at 4am.

The eighteen.Feb.2008

It has been exactly 2 years since we last catch up. Finally we managed to get together again sharing laughters, joy and greetings! We've all been busy with our own stuffs but the relationship and bonding since high school is still so strong! Buddy Andy came to Singapore after 2 years. We first met up after my work at 7pm and came to my house to meet the rest. Well, almost full attendance if i drive a lorry next time. Haha! For now only 6 people can squeeze into a cefiro(When on diet, and not eating steamboat).Haha!

We went to Tian Xia Di Yi Sua located at Aliwal street, just opposite the old Concourse hotel for Ma La Steamboat. I love the spicy hot soup which makes us craves for more!

Talking about the man in the above picture, after the steamboat session, i realised something really amazing about my buddy. He has fettish to eat raw pig's liver and gave me and alan really bloody ones. And i told him the liver is not cooked from the side and to my horror, he pop them into his mouth. So ladies and gentleman, raw is the new fashion for dining!

After our meal, we headed to DEMPSEY! The ever dark place with the different pubs and stuffs. And not forgetting Ben and Jerry's. As Ben & Jerry's closes at 11pm, we had to drive to Prive at Marina Keppel Bay for drinks. But my camera was low on batt so no pictures for that. =(

Happy Lunar New Year to all ! My New Year was a total blast with us moving to a new house and it happened during the eve of Lunar New Year till now. Hectic! Hectic! But well it was a wonderful experience driving to and fro from Telok Blangah to Jalan Membina the whole of Lunar New Year eve after reunion dinner. The 1st day of Lunar New Year was spent waking up at 11am and proceeded to my grandparents' house for visiting.

The Never Ending Energy Boys

The tenth.Feb.2008(4th day of the Lunar New Year)
We had our 1st house warming and it turned out to be a total blast. With the making of a 2nd indoor stadium in Jalan Membina, with figures close to a hundred turning up. I should be the usher giving out tickets and collecting a big amount so i can stop working from that day! haha! I worked from 10am-4.30pm and i took a cab home!

The Sixteen.Feb.2008(10th day of Chinese New Year)

Woke up early in the morning to go to Takashimaya to buy Chinese New Year goodies and also went to my aunt's place to get a conditioner. Cabbed home and prepared and the 2 sweet couple Weitian and Wencong came the earliest. Super on man both of them. Played dai dee with Pri School, Sec School, Design School mates. Laughs. So you can imagine how much i lost being the banker. Its a great catching up session. =). Thanks guys for coming!
